Movies of the Month (October 2014)

So, is it just me, or have the past 3 months just flown by? I feel like I was getting ready for the first day of school yesterday. But it’s October. Pumpkin spice lattes, red, orange, and brown leaves, and sweaters are everywhere. And I’m still trying to find the perfect pumpkin to put on my porch, and trying to find a cool Halloween costume.

I was thinking I would be a vampire, but that sounds a little cliche.
So I was thinking I would be a hunter, a queen, or a 11 year old that is eating candy and watching Pretty Little Liars with her friends and dog because she couldn’t think of a good enough costume for Halloween. Please comment below, and save me from going as the third option, with your cool ideas for Halloween costumes.

Anyway, it’s also time for another Movies of the Month post. So without further ado, here is my Movies of the Month post.
(You need to ask your parents for permission to see some of these trailers and movies. Just to be on the safe side.)

Pitch Perfect- This is an amazing movie about Becca, a college student who joins an collegiate acapella group called the Barden Bellas, and how her friends and her form a sisterly bond. This is a really funny movie that is best when you watch it with your friends. PARENT PERMISSION NEEDED.

Mean Girls – an insanely good movie that is a tween classic for girls everywhere, Mean Girls is about a new girl called Cady Heron who has to navigate the horrors of high school, the biggest horror of all being a clique of mean girls called the Plastics. PARENT PERMISSION NEEDED.

Harry Potter – This movie series is based off the amazing books that are beloved by everyone everywhere. The first movie is about 11 year old orphan Harry, who lives with his mean family made up of aunt, uncle and cousin, and how he gets an invitation to a school for magic called Hogwarts and all his adventures there. I love this movie series more than you could ever know!

And that’s it for this month’s Movies of the Month post. Tune back in for more, and remember to comment below telling me about some really cool Halloween costumes.

From my world to yours,
Ananya

All three of the movies you mention are loved in my house! My kids quote Mean Girls often, and we still like to sit down together for back-to-back Harry Potters on rainy weekends. The girls and I enjoyed Pitch Perfect, but I have to say my husband rolled his eyes at that one 🙂
