The Mark of Athena

The Mark of Athena is the third book in the Heroes of Olympus series, by Rick Riordan. The Mark of Athena revolves around a team of 7 demigods(half god, half humans), they recieved a revelation from an oracle, that they should journey to Greece. Greece is the birthplace of the Greek Gods, so the gods’ immortal enemies, the giants, will try to awaken the Earth Mother and destroy all life. A giant can only be killed by a god and a demigod working together, so the heroes are uncertain about how to proceed. But first things first, they have to get there. Even witha flying ship and 7 children of the most powerful gods, it is still not easy. Monsters and manifestations litter their path from Long Island, to Greece. The journey is long, and hard. And each team member is forced to reconsider who they are, and find where their loyalties lie.

At one point, or maybe even now, Graphene is still a hot topic. The super thin and lightweight material offers many opportunities for innovation. With its capacity to hold charge like a battery, and be able to hold the weight of an elephant on a pencil point. That kind of strength and electrical capacity leasds to many opportunities for electric cars, military transportation, air travel, etc. These properties make Graphene a very interesting and useful substance for innovation.

What’s so different.
