Me in my Cinderella Dress

Me in my Cinderella Dress

Boys and girls in the park

People sitting in benches

Tall, green trees touching the clouds and

Pink fluffy high heels

Me in my Cinderella dress

HAAAA  and Yayyyy

Parents laughing

Birds tweeting

Me in my Cinderella dress

I felt the wind hitting my face

I was feeling happy and free.

It smelled like rubber and dirt

Because it was as clean as a loathsome dumpster but

It was a wonderful day

Me in my Cinderella dress

Author’s Note:

This poem is based in a picture along time ago. I was in Monterrey, Mexico. We were with some friends in the park near their house, and I wouldn’t  took off the Cinderella dress they had borrowed me. I liked it so much. I was in a swing, and I wouldn’t stop smiling. My Dad took so many pictures of me in the park, I felt like a real princess.
