Thanksgiving Break.

I was at my family’s ranch in Seguin, Texas. My cousins and I were eating a great Thanksgiving dinner. It  consisted of: turkey, green bean casserole, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Then my cousin and I left the house and went outside. My youngest cousin demanded to be swung on the “deer gutting bar”. which holds the deer by the legs while you clean it and butcher it. “Ok” I said “were going to hold you by your jeans”. I lowered the bar and attached the bar to his pants. I then lifted him up about 8 feet. Then I decided to let him stay there, but I would bring him his food. I came back out about 15 minutes later and his belt was nearly broken. It was creased in half, I knew it would break soon. so I lowered him down slowly and ran. I was already in the woods. I had won the battle.

    Sounds like classic cousin shenanigans!

I always learn something new reading your blog. I never knew there was such a thing as a deer gutting bar!

That must have been funny for you but scary for him! Also its pretty funny that he calls the gutting bar a swing! đŸ™‚

That does sound pretty funny. I would probably end up doing the same thing to my brother. While it probably wasn’t the smartest idea to hang him up like that, it was pretty smart of you to run after you let him down.
