Why I Love Video Games

I chose this picture because it represents video games. The reason I love video games is because in them, anything is possible, you can do whatever you want. It also a great thing to do with friends, I have also made friends in othe country’s, some of which I have been friends with for years. I also love to watch things like esports, world cups, and torments. Over all, video games are a great way to have fun with friends and wind down!

Ready Player One Review

I would say that Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is my favorite book of all time. It is a melting pot of all the things I absolutely love! Video games, pop culture, and TONS of references. I also love the story, it was really easy to feel like you were in the book. One this I also like is that you don’t have to like video games just to like the book. It also has a huge nostalgia factor, which I don’t really experience, but I’m told that it’s there. I also liked the movie, but it was so different from the book that it was hard to see them as the same story, but if you look at them as a separate story, the I think they are both really good.  But there is one issue, I wish the book did a better job explaining what life is like outside the oasis, the whole time I was reading I was asking myself, “ why aren’t they trying to fix problems.” But over all, Ready Player One is a great book that I would recommend to everyone!

My Opinion on The Battlefield V Beta

There has been a lot of controversy about Dice’s upcoming first person shooter Battlefield V, but people recently got their hands on the open beta, and I’m going to tell you what I thought of it! I was a huge fan of of the last Battlefield game, but the newest game didn’t contain the wow factor that the last game had. In the last game, you could completely lose yourself, surrounded by gunshots, explosions and fire, but the newest game felt dull and uneventful. The other thing that bothered me was your ability to help your team, in the last game, pulling of a huge play that completely turned the game around was extremely difficult, but possible. And it felt extremely rewarding!  But in this newest game, the way maps are designed mixed with your more limed ammo supply makes it difficult to do the same thing. Over all I did not enjoy my time with the Battlefield V beta, and do not think I will pickup this game.
