Leaves

Leaves

The soft sunlight brushes against them

They flutter in the wind

Colors so bright

Bringing life to autumn

The joyful beginning of the new season

The crisp pumpkin smell fills the area

Leaves slowly fall gracefully

Down and down and downward

The world comes to a stop

Friends and family gather around

To see this beautiful sight

Of the leaves turning bright

They crinkle with a stomp

Brought inside by the wind

The crisp smell of leaves is everywhere

But fall has just begun

Blackout poetry

                       The long shadow

A buzzing came, the sound made a great silence. She

didn’t go to sleep. Laura jumped up and ran a long shadow. He jumped and caught hold of Caroline.
