Month: October 2014

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays of the year. Everything about Halloween is fun. The candy, costumes, friends, family, and creepy decorations. The best part of this year’s Halloween is that it is on a Friday, so, hopefully, no homework!

I still haven’t decided on my costume this year, but I have some ideas. So far, I have a record for dressing up as an animal almost every Halloween. I kind of messed up the record with a Dora the Explorer costume when I was little and a last minute Snow White costume last year, but I’m gonna try to pick the record back up again this year.

I get filled with excitement every time I think about Halloween approaching and hope that it will be as much fun as all the others. Have a happy Halloween!

House of Torment

Last weekend, for my birthday party, I went to House of Torment with all of my friends.

The first house, BlackThorne District: Realms Collide, was the scariest because I didn’t know what to expect. The second house, Cursed: The Coven, I started to get used to them scaring me, so my friend and I took the front in line. The third house, Slaughterhouse: The Feeding, was really fun because they had a chainsaw and strobe lights inside it.

This was one of the best birthday parties I could ask for and I will probably do it again next year. I had such a great time with everyone and met so many new people. In fact, I loved it so much I’m probably going back on Friday.

Ole Miss V.S. Alabama Football Game

Last weekend, I went to Oxford, Mississippi to visit my sister in college and go to the Ole Miss V.S. Alabama football game in the grove. My dad, my brother, and my sister were the only ones in the stadium.

The grove is an area cramped with tents, families, and college kids. Even though I wasn’t actually in the stadium, I still had a blast. The grove is filled with cheering, food, and laughter. It’s almost impossible to get bored in the grove.

The exciting part was, of course, the football game going on right next to the grove. Ole Miss rebels played a great game and won 23-17. Once they won, everyone was cheering and screaming (except the Alabama fans.) In the stadium, everyone ran out on the field and climbed on top of the field goal. And, because of the weight, it eventually came apart.

Well, we finally beat the #1 team in the nation. LSU Tigers better be prepared on October 25th.
