The Testing

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau

So far, I am on page 101 and I love this book. It is a kind of an edge-of-your-seat kind of book. So, this setting is a dystopia setting. The main character (cia) lived in a poor community with one friend and a few brothers. She was chosen to go to this main city where they do the testing, there were three other students that graduated and went with her. Thomas, Zandri and Malachi. The testing facility is what they call a university. They have dorms, a lunch area and a testing area.

I also liked that the author ends every chapter with a cliffhanger, it really makes me want to read more. But what I didn’t like about the book is that cia was in a romantic relationship with a boy before the testing and I haven’t heard anything about him since. So ya. That was my review of The Testing.

I love lacrosse. Lacrosse is my sport well, so is horse riding but that won’t get me into collage would it? So I love animals, (especially horses), I love to read and surf too. My name also means god in Hebrew. That’s pretty cool. I am half American half Canadian. I have a little sister. I’m also about to turn thirteen.

I moved around a lot first, I was born in San Francisco. Then, I moved to Shanghai, China when I was two. Then I moved back to San Francisco, then back to Shanghai. A lot of moving right? Well, then I moved to Singapore, Singapore. Which is a small country of the cost of Malaysia. Then I moved here. To Austin, Texas.

So, also my favorite book is divergent. I love dystopian novels, I also love the hunger games and Percy Jackson. I love to read, reading is awesome.

Thanks for reading,
