ADHD and other things people say aren’t real

This has gotten to a point where this is a rant blog now. Okay so here we go! ADHD is real. Saying that ADHD isn’t real and claiming that  it’s just an opinion, is like me saying that anyone that watches movies is a psychopath, and then calling that an opinion. Your “opinion” goes against real facts that were scientifically proven. Okay now that we all know that ADHD is a real thing, I’m just going to say I have it and what it’s like to have it. Yes, I have ADHD, but I take a medication, so if you go to my school and have never gotten to know me personally, you would think I’m a quiet kid. Having ADHD is like having a mind that moves way  too fast, and then to take that and make it so you can’t focus unless you go into hyper focus which makes you focus so much that sometimes you won’t go to the bathroom. That’s not a superpower, it’s a focusing disability. Just in case you’re wondering. Yes, I love sudying mental illness. That doesn’t mean I love mental illnesses though. I hate them, they’re one of the worst things to happen to humanity. Another thing that isn’t related to ADHD at all but it’s still a real thing so I’m going to write about it. Why are people saying there are two genders? Do they think they’re smart by reading one biology book in 6th grade and saying some big words they don’t know? Because they don’t sound smart they sound like one of the dumbest people in the world by saying that. Gender is a social construct. Don’t believe me? Why don’t you look something up for once and use your resources. Personally, I’m sticking with three genders right now. Male, Female, and Hermaphrodites. Somehow I’m now transitioning this to people who transition. You guessed it transgender people! They go though a lot to transition so why don’t people respect them. *Cough cough* Sam *Cough* Collins *cough cough cough*.  And apparently the LGBTQ community is full of mentally insane people according to someone who has no relation to anyone in the community. I’m sorry I just can’t imagine thinking like that I just can’t. We’re moving on boys, we’re moving on. Aphantasia! If you don’t know what it is that makes sense. It’s a condition where you cannot see pictures in your head. You know what it looks like, but you can’t see it. The worst part about it is that you don’t know what looking at pictures in your head is like.  Also you can’t really get it tested unless you find a doctor that can see what you see in your head. If you do, please tell me. Finally I’m going to rant about something that’s real, but really annoys me when a person brags about it. Test anxiety. It sucks, sure, but when you say that it’s a rare disability then you need to stop right there and actually learn about it. A person I will not name said and I quote: “I’m good at everything except tests”. UM WHAT?? That’s not something you say to people. I have anxiety about everything, probably because I have Anxiety. Anyway, test anxiety is basically just anxiety but only before or during a test. So there’s nothing you can do about it except take a medication for it. You can’t cure it. You can help it. I understand that it’s a real thing, but it’s extremely common. I’m taking a wild guess on how many kids in my school have test anxiety. I’m going to say half or two thirds of the school have test anxiety. This isn’t a new thing. You aren’t the only one with this. If you don’t have a 504 about it, then it must not be that serious then. Alright this is long enough. Bye.

Hello and welcome to the blog where nobody cares. Today we’re going to be talking about drumroll please…. you already read the title…. school. It sucks but you should still go just like every other kid. Even though there are a lot of famous people who dropped out of college. For example, creators of Mac, WhatsApp too, Snapchat, YouTube as well. “Wait a minute. You’re just picking out people that turned out really successful and also dropped out of college.” You’re right random guy, a lot of people turned out really successful and went to college. So I’ll break the pattern. The person who created IKEA didn’t even go to school. The point of school is to prepare you for the “real world” to be honest you don’t need to know anything to go into the “real world”. You should still stay in school obviously! But there are some problems with it. For one, people are afraid for raising their hand because they think they’ll get the answer wrong and get bullied for it because everyone else says the question was easy. That much pressure shouldn’t be put on a child. Stress just by itself shouldn’t be put on a child. Which brings me to number two, why is there so much homework? I get that you want us to memorize all these math equations, history, and I also totally get that you want us to memorize the Periodic Table of Elements then throw it up on a test then never use it in real life, but that’s not learning, that’s telling a kid to look down at a paper for most of their life and hardly communicate with each other. Which again, brings me to my next point. Kids aren’t allowed to communicate with each other and are hardly allowed to help each other during class because they’re not allowed to talk to each other. Maybe for some classes you’re allowed to discuss the material but that’s it. School doesn’t teach you how to communicate or start conversations. Which to me is the most important skill someone can have. I asked Wikipedia what school is for and this is what I found: A school is an institution designed to provide learning spaces and learning environments for the teaching of students under the direction of teachers. Most countries have systems of formal education, which is commonly compulsory. In these systems, students progress through a series of schools. I wish I could highlight what will transition into the next problem, but I’ll just say it. The key word in that sentence was Teaching of students under the direction of teachers. I found out a lot about school by researching it, and man this rabbit hole is deep! Schools were made to train kids to work in factories. Yes you read that right. Literal factories! Which explains a lot if you think about it. Kids sit in rows, nice and neat. Raise your hand if you want to speak, have a small break to eat, and compete to get an A. A letter that determines your rank agains other students. I know that things were bad back then, we all have our pasts, I myself am no Ghandi. But things have changed! We don’t want people who can name all the countries in Asia, we want creative people! Creative people that can communicate with others, creative people that make emotional connections with people. Who knows, maybe memorizing all of the countries of Asia will give the cure for Cancer. Oh my gosh this rant is getting too long. Tell me if you want a part two (trust me, I’ll do my work this time school)! Okay goodbye now.

Hello! The book I just recently read is Maleficent. I really enjoyed the characters, and the whole story in general. It’s from Maleficent’s point of view. It was an emotional roller coaster and I felt like I was going in loops the whole time. Don’t get me wrong, the book was amazing, and the amount of detail in the book was fantastic, but since I was going on an emotional roller coaster, it made me feel the character’s pain, happieness, fear, and so on. I would recommend this to anyone who is obsessed with the “Villains” side of the story, or if you just want a book to read a book in your spare time. A lot of things in the book I liked. An example being, no one is saved by true love’s kiss, some evil characters ended up being the good ones, and a “manly prince” didn’t even matter in the story ( Thank goodness ). All in all, the book was really cool and you should read it sometime!

Fortnite vs PubG

Hi I’m Erin and I still don’t care about the fact that everyone is obsessing over Fortnite vs PubG. It makes no sense why everyone is obsessed over two games that are almost exactly like each other. When other games come out (they are still really popular) nobody cares, but when Fortnite comes out, it’s a big deal because it looks too much like this other game. It makes no sense. Why can’t we all agree that people have other opinions? Oh right, because we’re a bunch of people that don’t care about others. Um bye now.
