where you will find me

Photo from Mourgefile

You will find me under water where corals grow like plants,

An escape from the outer world an escape full of emerald green,

Among the euphoric stillness of the water,

Swish of the lake swallowing me,

The sweet serenity of no air eight feet down,

No screams,

Eyes closed,

Lungs filled with questions and my mind knows no answer,

For I’m not drowning in water I’m drowning  in questions,

About life’s eternal unknown,

So I like to do my thinking eight feet down,

Sweet  hum as I slip under deeper,

For me heaven is being underwater murky and emerald,

Above me the sky grows darker,

But I have no complaints for  not everyone can think underwater
