Oatmeal

Do you like oatmeal?

I think that oatmeal should be banned in Texas. It’s just so weird. Who would ever think to invent oatmeal?

Why is it here? Did aliens bring it to earth? I think that even with delicious maple syrup the oats just don’t taste good. And the whole idea of meal kind of ruins it; it just reminds me of meal worms.

Somethings just aren’t meant to be eaten- like tomatoes. Whenever I wake up in the morning something about mashed up grains and syrup just doesn’t sound very appealing.

So next time you eat oatmeal you eat oatmeal just think about what it really is.

  1. Oatmeal has a long history in Scottish culinary tradition because oats are better suited than wheat to Scotland’s short, wet growing season.
Also, I don’t think aliens brought it here as you’ve mentioned . Because:

#1- I don’t think they would be that stupid enough to make it in the first place.

#2- The only reason oatmeal is here is because some European guy probably had the ‘smart’ idea to mash up som nuts and make a ‘nutritional’ breakfast.

And also, I agree with you that oatmeal should be banned in Texas.

  2. I agree, oatmeal is really weird. I really don’t like the taste of it, because it’s basically just a bowl of soggy mush. I wonder who the maker of oatmeal is, and why he decided to make it.
