When I was little, I just couldn’t do without my teddy bear. He was a cuddly bear, stuffed to perfection. He was always a floppy little bear.
He had the most adorable little bow tie. It was light brown and tied tightly around his neck. The ribbon was the perfect width. It fit my little bear perfectly.
His fur was very shaggy. His fur was tan and a little like carpet. His fur looked like carpet because it was made with tiny loops of string.
When I used to play with him, I would pull on the embroidery that made his face. At one point, he was missing his eyes and his mouth. A few years after I pulled his eyes and mouth off, I re-embroidered his face.
Looking back now, I don’t think I even gave him a name. I am pretty sure his name was just Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear will always be a special memory of my child hood.
This is a picture I took of Teddy Bear:
