Christmas Break

During Christmas break, I stayed home for half of the time with my mom and sister and we went ice skating. We also went to fancy plays, the park and good restaurants. As we were being tourists in our hometown, we didn’t get much traffic( For Westlake), free days and a whole lot of sleeping. We had a wonderful Christmas and got to do some things that you can’t do during the regular school year routine. For Christmas I got some good stuff: like Lululemon dance clothes, soft blankets and a whole lot of gift cards. I am very happy with everything:)

For my second week of Christmas Break with my dad, sister, stepmother and younger siblings. We went to our house in The Florida Keys. It was much warmer than Austin. I went to the beach, and tried to find a hermit crab, so I could name it ” Bobby Joe Franklin”. I had no luck. This led me to name a Coconut instead… Anyways, For my younger sisters birthday (Zelda ) we went down to Key West( the Southern most part of The United States) and walked around the streets where there were shops, Henna Tattoo artists and Irish pubs. I got a Henna Tattoo that had a

New York City in the Christmas Time!

Tomorrow morning I am going to New York City. Its just going to be me and my dad for a couple of days. Many people have told me to prepare for the coldest weather and don’t bring shorts like a girl from Texas would do. We are going to see 2 plays on Broadway {On your feet and School of rock}. Me and him were both seeking to watch Hamilton, but it was sold out.

This is my first time going to New York. I am the most excited I’ve been since my litttle brother was born! I’ve heard that when you first drive into New York City it is so big and bright when it’s around the holidays. Just because I’ve been dreaming of this since my sister went there, I made a list of things I want to see and do.

1: I want to get a cab by whistling and then slap the seat and say ” 5th avenue. STEP ON IT!”

2: I want to stand on the top of the Empire State Building

3: I want to skate in Rockefeller Center

4: If you have ever seen the movie “ELF’ than you will know when I say it would be fun to jump the crosswalks

5: When I go I would like to go to Chinatown and have Dim Som

These are a few of the things I look forward too. If you have ever been to New York City then I would like to know what your favorite thing to do is. If you haven’t gone, then What would you like to do? Even though I have a lot of make-up work and it might be below freezing there, It should be a lot of fun!

Christmas Tree’s and The Suprising Cool Breeze

This past Thursday, I went to Papa Noel. There they have a variety of well crafted Christmas Trees that I pick from every year. It’s always something I cherish around Christmas time. Getting the right tree for your house is important. Not to big or to small. Before you put the  glittery ornaments and long ribbons on the tree, you might want to get a good one first. Here are some things you should look for if you’re wanting the perfect Christmas Tree:

The Christmas Tree Guidelines:

FIRST: You have to keep in mind that you do certainly have a roof and pick the write length for that measurement.

SECOND: Get that good smelling Christmas Tree perfume for your house.

THIRD: Make sure you have someone to help you get the Christmas Tree of the car. You don’t want to be attcked… Like  I was.

FOURTH: Check to be sure that your Christmas Tree is indeed on your car in the first place. You don’t want to have your 6 foot Tree in the middle of the Highway.

These are all suggestions and you could have a Christmas Tree through your roof if that’s your way of a happy holiday season. For Christmas is 24 days away and people are already bundeling up for the 39 degree weather! Im glad it is finally getting cold, and I dont have to force the scarfs and hats on the sweaty 80 degrees!I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday and a Radical Hanukkah. Thank you for reading my blog post!
