Orchestra Fall Concert

Yesterday I played the piano with the WRMS Concert Orchestra for the Fall Concert. The orchestra did a great job with all the pieces—Defender of Time, Hocus Pocus, and Velocity! It really was unfortunate that the speaker for the piano didn’t function—it just happened to malfunction right when we started performing.
Well, I don’t really know if the speaker wasn’t working, or the volume was too low, but afterwards I was given feedback that the piano could not be heard.

I am a little disappointed in myself, because I spent nine weeks of practice with the orchestra. Fortunately, I will be playing the Westlake Steinway piano in the PAC for the Winter Concert so this should not happen again. I can’t wait to have more memorable experiences with the orchestra again!
