Why Bose is better than Beats

Almost everyone knows these two famous competitor headphone brands—Bose and Beats. In my opinion, I would definitely choose Bose as my favourite over Beats.

Beats(by Dr. Dre) was founded in 2006 by Jimmy Lovine and Dr. Dre, and bought by Apple in 2014. Bose, fairly older compared to Beats, was founded in 1964 by Amar Bose.

First, Bose is mainly known for the quality and consistency of the sound. Bose’s sound frequencies (including the bass and higher pitches) are much more controlled than Beats, but, Beat’s bass is much more dramatic and accented than Bose’s.

Second, Beats usually tend to be on the pricier side. Their logo is recognized by everyone, causing prices to be a lot higher. Also, Bose headphones’ aesthetics are quite plain compared to Beats. Bose’s colors usually tend to be only black, white, and gray.

Bose material qualities are much higher. I’ve had a pair of Bose QuietComfort 20’s for almost three years, and they haven’t worn down at all. In addition to quality, Beats earbuds leak way more than Bose—probably because the bass is so prominent in Beats.

Music is basically my life. Even though some people might disagree with me, Bose earbuds make my experiences so, so much better.
