Homework

So tonight I’ve been doing homework since 5:00 PM and now its 8:20 PM. I didn’t even have homework in all subjects, I had to write a story about weather in science, about 20 problems for math (3 pages), this blog post, and study for a test. I didn’t even have time to go to JAM tonight (its a church thing). Not to mention I still have to proof read my science homework. I’m estimating I will finish by 8:40 PM. I know a lot of people have problems with homework, but what about the people who have things to do after school? For me some nights I could have 30 minutes of homework while other nights 3 to 4 hours of homework,¬†and i’m not even taking a¬†language!

  1. I have some homework almost every night, and a lot on the weekends. I try to space it out when I can; for example, I don’t try to grade an assignment from all five classes in one evening.

When I know something is due by the end of the week, such as lesson plans with Mrs. Schoch or an exam to be shared with HCMS, I try to work on it a little at a time in the days before it is due.

Will you be posting your weather story here?

    1. No, I don’t think I will be posting my weather story, but If this post gets 10 comments from 10 different people then I will be posting it.

  2. Can my post count as 9 posts? It would be neat to read your weather story. That was a heavy day of work and downer that we could not enjoy going to church that day. Hopefully tomorrow (Wednesday) will be a lighter load. I like what Mrs. Kriese said about managing projects/homework. The good news is that you like attacking your work and getting it done. Yes some people follow the motto of if it were not for the last minute nothing would get done. That is a recipe for stress which can cause all kinds of bodily harm not to mention missing something fun!!!

  3. Wow that’s a lot of work! I do ballet as an after-school activity and it’s hard, but on the bright side you won’t have much homework the following evening. Hopefully.
