Dear Mom and Dad,
Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. You taught me what is right and what is wrong. You helped me overcome obstacles. I couldn’t be the person I am today without you.
One thing I would like to thank you for is taking me places I couldn’t dream of going to. I have learned so much about different cultures, climates, food, transportation, and basically everything my mind could think of and more! My favorite place we went was Europe because of the food. I know that Mom thinks I am crazy that food was my favorite part, but Dad doesn’t! Dad thank you for agreeing with me that the historic places in Rome and other places were cool, but the food was melt in your mouth good. I am much happier that you spent your money on taking us places than buying me the newest iPhone or whatever my heart desires.
Another thing I would like to thank you for is taking my brothers and me to Alaska. It has taught us to go hang out with nature, family, friends and your fishing pole or walking stick, and you will have so much more fun than being on a computer or iPhone. I have had so much fun on all those hikes, camping trips, and just about everything we have done up there. I also really enjoyed you both teaching me to vac-seal, fish, hunt, kayak, bake, cook.
I have really appreciated you teaching me what is important, and what isn’t. Doing philanthropy is much more important than being lazy. Family, friends, and the good times are so much more worthy for me to remember than the bad times. Spending time with my family and friends should be very important, and I should be helpful, considerate, and kind. The important things are the things that count.
But the most important thing to thank you for is being my parents.
Thank you for everything.
