As I heard the alarm, unlike most days, I wanted to keep sleeping. I was tired, my feet ached and I was annoyed at Albert for keeping me up till 3 in the morning. I finally woke up after Freddy kicked me in the side as he got out of bed.
When I got to Universal, we went directly to Harry Potter world. I never actually read or watched the Harry Potter books, so I felt kind of left out. I still rode a lot of the rides, and I was exhausted after that day. We also watched a show on Disney characters at Hollywood Studios at night that day. Half of my group went to ride one last ride- the tower of terror- while Harvey and I went back to the hotel.
As I was riding the bus home, however, my roommates had other plans. We again stayed up watching tv and playing cards. I climbed into bed and I was so exhausted, I barely heard my roommates talking about our day at Hollywood Studios tomorrow .
As I heard the alarm, I woke with excitement coursing through my blood. I was still tired, but I thought about what rides I was going to ride, and I ignored my exhaustion and got ready for breakfast.
After we ate, we ran out toward the bus to go to Magic Kingdom. There, we went on Space Mountain (You can read more about it here) and Splash Mountain. After, we planned to go to another park, but as we were going out, some people stopped us. They said we had to have someone thirteen or older to accompany us if we had to go out of the park. We texted our chaperone to pick us up, but before she could get us, someone else showed up and was able to accompany us out of the park.
After we ate some food at Epcot we left to our hotel. We stayed up watching tv with the other people in the connecting room until 12 AM even though we were going to get up at 6 AM in the morning. We all got in our beds and thought about what we were going to do at Universal Studios.
Hello! I will be doing a series on my trip in Orlando, Florida with my orchestra.
On the first day, as my mom was driving me to the airport, I was shaking with excitement. As I ran off into the airport, I saw my group, composed of Harvey, Albert, Freddy, and me. I ran toward my group and we talked with some other groups about what we were going to do in Disneyworld. As we got our bags checked, we were all trading airplane tickets, trying to sit with our friends. I ended up sitting in the very front all by myself, but it turned out okay, because I just watched The Martian like 3 times.
When we finally go to Orlando, we ended up going to a place with a ton of stores. After a quick dinner, we spent a couple of hours deciding what we were going to get. I ended up getting a hat. By the time we were finished, my feet were aching, and I thought it was a good idea to get to our resort and hang out with some 8th graders.
Unfortunately, the resort was half an hour away, and it was the farthest away from all our instruments and the bus. If just walking around made you sweat instantly, try to imagine waking around with a heavy backpack, an overstuffed suitcase, and cello on your back, in Orlando’s 102 degree heat. I’m pretty sure I collapsed twice from dizziness by the time I got to the rom. I threw my stuff on the bed and I unzipped my cello to make sure it wasn’t broken.
After a while we ended up in a fight with the room across from us, and we probably each took a 30 minute shower to wipe off all the sweat that had piled up on our skin. We had originally decided that half of us would sleep o the floor, and we would alternate on who would sleep on the beds, but only Harvey wanted to sleep on the floor, so we share the beds.
