One day while I was in the woods hunting I came across this green slimy fiend. He tried to attack me so I came back at him. He swiped his claws at me and started to run away. I quickly looked at my cut and began running after him. After a while he began to slow down and slowly after stop. I lunged at him grabbing his arm. I ripped it off with one pull. He cried out in agony. Soon slowly stopped breathing. I was getting ready to head back into town when I heard a growl like I’ve never heard before. It was loud and raspy. I look up just to see two green glowing eyes staring at me. It was Fenrir. He had pointy teeth and slobber running down his chin. He roared again but this was five times louder. I quickly lifted my hands and put them over my ears. I took a step back. I had to think quickly. I noticed a cave to the left of Fenrir. I quickly ran for it. I made it. While trying not to faint I thought. The only weapon I had was a sword. I walked to the edge of the cave. As soon as he lifted his paw I quickly stuck my sword in the bottom of it. It for sure wasn’t enough to kill him but I did it a few more times and he wasn’t able to step on it. I did it to another paw as well one in the front and one in the back. He wasn’t able to stand. He rolled over screaming in pain. I quickly lanced at his chest and hit him in the heart. I had did it. I quickly leaped off of the rocks before the exploded. But Fenrir was still laying there. The rocks exploded burning Fenrir and he slowly became nothing.
The crash of the waves against the side of the boat,
The giant splashes of the dolphins jumping
And the sound of doors flying open and slamming shut
As people from out on the deck yell for the next person to real in the fish
The worn out looks on their faces, and the stressful pulling on the fishing pole
But the fish pulled away and refused to get on the boat
Finally…..our faces lit with excitement as people rushed over to pull up the fish
After the excitement died down we all felt the exhaustion rushing back to us
It was time to go home
After a long trip back, I hop off the boat and slowly rub my sleepy eyes
As I try to open them I see the dim sunset twinkling on the water
Like a thousand diamonds
I chose this thing I love because I love the excitement and fun of this activity. In this poem I repeated a line from the first stanza and the last stanza. I always have so much fun doing this activity so I’m glad I could share it.
