The Meaning of Life

Okay, I just want to say I’m not contemplating the meaning of life. I already know it. According to the Dalai Lama, the meaning of life is happiness. Unfortunately, this raises another question: What is happiness?

I mean, it has to vary from person to person, right? So that means that we will never know what happiness is.

I guess we just have to cure disease. Oh well.

We can’t have everything. But we can, unfortunately, have Ebola.

We should probably work on that.

Okay, put down your torches and pitchforks, people, I’m not going to go on a rant saying ‘God is stupid and Christians are stupid and God doesn’t exist and-‘ Actually I do believe in religion.
Buddhism. The belief that if you aren’t greedy and jealous, and you are nice to people, you will be a happier person, and if you do it enough, you might be happy ALL the time.
I’m not saying you should all be Buddhists, but you should except some of the beliefs. Like kindness. And happiness. And all that good stuff.
Buddhists are neutral. And if someone questions their religion, they’re okay with it.
Just saying.
P.S Leave some meaningful comments. Start a conversation. Just don’t be hateful.

So I was playing this game, Robot Unicorn Attack 2, when I realized how awesome this game was. I gasped dramatically, my iPad dropped to the floor, shattering into a million pieces, and I was blown backward by a humungous explosion right behind me that somehow didn’t kill me.
Okay, that didn’t happen. What really happened is I turned to my friend Anika and said, “I just realized how awesome this game is.”
Anika looked at me and slowly nodded. “Yeah. Uh-huh.”
This is why she is my best friend.

Why I Cry

I finished Sherlock over the weekend. As usual, the episodes were brilliant, but something was different. The episode started with the saddest line I have ever heard. I will not name this line, because I know how horrible spoilers are.

The episode’s title was ‘The Reicenbach Fall.’

Weep for me, fans of Sherlock. Weep for me.

If I told you the plot, it would spoil everything.

So, to talk about the episode, I will do this.

For those of you who crossed the spoiler line with no disregard to your own safety, the episode is about  Sherlock being dead.

The first scene in the episode is John in a therapist talking about Sherlock being dead.

I then proceeded to curse Moffat.

John’s speech at Sherlock’s grave….*sob*

So that’s why I spent my Saturday night crying. Luckily, all was remedied in the next season.
