Poems: Bedroom Thoughts

Dog claws pitter-pater in

Polished wood flooring cool under my feet

Breeze from ceiling fan blowing on my face

Covers baking in the heat of the sun coming in from the open widow shade

No Sound

The mini stereo starts singing as I turn on some soothing music and

Fall onto my bed & drift into sleep.
