The reason why I like this picture is because it reminds me of my grandma’s garden. I love playing in my grandma’s garden, but what I specifically do to play in her garden is climb trees. I mostly climb on this one tree that has been in the garden for as long as I can remember, that would be almost 12 years I think. She loves plants and trees and has some trees that look like these during the fall. She doesn’t live near my family and I, so when I miss my grandma I try to look at trees, especially the ones during the fall. Trees and just plants in general are calming and they help me calm down. That is why I love looking at nature during the fall or any other time of the year. I love my grandma!
I just finished reading a book called Refugee by Alan Gratz. This book is about three different main characters who are all going through hard times in their country because of people who dont’t want to accept their culture. Since there is 3 different main characters, there are three different stories that have similarities going on in the same book. The three main characters are Josef, Isabel, and Mahmoud. The 3 main settings where the 3 stories start are Germany🇩🇪 for Josef, Cuba 🇨🇺 for Isabel, and Syria 🇸🇾 for Mahmoud. For Josef’s story it took place in the 1930s, for Isabel’s story it took place in 1994, and for Mahmoud’s story it took place in 2015. This book is fiction, but more specifically a realistic fiction book because the book expresess stories of different wars that happened that made a difference in this world🌎 from the people who were part of the wars and who had to make sacrifices to get away from these wars. I recommend this book and other books from Alan Gratz 📚 to everyone!
This video connects to something I learned, know how to do, and do in gymnastics during a practice. This is a back handspring step – out on beam. I do gymnastics, and I had to be able to do a back handspring on a beam, to do that I had to start from the basics. First, learn what a back handspring is and learn how to do it, then, do it on the floor and try to get it on a strait line, and last try it on a beam (start on a low beam and then move on to a higher beam as you get more comfortable with it).

This summer my gymnastics 🤸♀️ team, our parents/siblings 👨👩👧👦 , and I went to Schlitterbahn ⛲️ . We got on basically every slide🎢 that there was and my friends and I might have gone a little far away from the place where we were supposed to meet our parents to eat lunch🍛🍴 because to make it to lunch 🍽 on time⌛️ we had to run 🏃♀️ all the way from one side of the park to the picnic place were our parents were. I ha…—we all had an amazing time 🕰 and are surely looking👀 forward to our next summer🌻 activity. That day we had morning 🌥gym practice, but it wasn’t as long ⏱ as usual because right after we were all changing into swimsuits 🏊♀️ and driving 🚗 to Schlitterbahn🏖to spend the whole rest of the day there. It was really hot and the sun 🌞 was like following us every where, so at the end we had put on sunscreen a total of about 7 times. My friends and I spent most of our time at the Ocean Wave Pool 🌊 . We hit a few people and slammed into the wall a couple of times on accident in the Ocean Wave Pool 🌊 (it didn’t hurt/we didn’t get hurt), but that was part of the fun! There was a lot of people other than us so the lines for some of the bigger rides could get up to being a wait of 2 hours. Of course I wasn’t crazy enough to wait in the 2 hour long lines, so I just went to wait in the lines that you barely had to wait in or I didn’t wait at all because I went to the places were there were no lines. At the end after eating lunch at 12 p.m.⌚️, waiting in lines, and doing other fun and crazy stuff, we went home close to the time when they were going to close. The next day… I still remember like it was today…. I definitely did not want to get up because I was so tired and sore, and all I wanted to do was keep on dreaming in my sleep😴. Guess what?…… That didn’t happen because the next day my parents didn’t let me sleep in because we had a family activity that day that was pretty early in the morning!!!
This was my summer activity that I very much enjoyed😃!
(Except for the waking up early and not sleeping in part)!!
