How To Create Characters

One of the first things I think about when creating characters is there personality. Really there personality depends on the story your putting your character in. One of my Characters I have created is named Aria. I like to think of my  characters Pro’s and Con’s. Pro example: Aria is Pretty and strong, Con example: Aria is snobby and full of her self. I like to list them out on a sheet of paper, but that’s optional.

Secondly, create there design. This comes off as the hardest part for some but that’s only because there are a lot of things you have to consider. One, the design has to be relevant to the story, random designs are fine but sometimes they feel a bit out of place. An example of that is if you’re creating a dystopian comic but the main characters look like they came straight out of the 80’s with a bunch of neon colors, it kind of feels weird. Two, you want to have a style to fit your theme, like if you wanted to make a fun slice of life comic you should do a cool cartoony style.

last but not least, there bio. You want it to get right to the point, without spoiling any plot twists. Some things to put on there bio are, birthday, age, height, gender, likes and dislikes. Just remember not to make it too complicated. You can switch these steps up but remember to have fun.

You have a great start to your blog. I love how you included a passion of yours. Your pictures are amazing. Are all of these drawings from you? You are very talented, both as a writer and an artist. I am anxious to see what you have in store for the blog this year.
