The doorbell rings. I go welcome the members of my Future City team for our first meeting. Besides the enthusiastic greetings, a deafening barking sound was heard. Just what I expected.
I went to Harry’s cage and gave him some food to calm him because the barking will slow down our meeting. The family dog, Harry, always gets extremely hyper when it comes to new people. He runs toward them, often rearing up on their legs, as if that was HIS way of getting to know them. Otherwise, especially if he was in the cage, he starts barking for attention. Then I give him his favorite food, and he stops barking.
Food and no barking. This was the ultimate solution to end his whining.
