It’s a cylinder. Or is it?

When you see this, you will probably see a cylinder: a mug-like shape with an open circular top. Nothing seems odd with it, but turn it around and you get something more rigid: a square.

Now you may be wondering, This is probably a clever usage of Photoshop or editing devices. Well, the truth is that it is the shape of the solid. It is a cross-hybrid between a circle and a square.

The “adjusting” part comes from the fact that the top of the walls are curved in a “sine wave” fashion.

All of these factors, along with viewing at a certain angle(you’ll have to find out where!) creates the illusion: one shape viewed as 2 from different angles.
